I am poem

This term all of Totara whanau did an I "am poem." An I "am poem" is when you tell something about yourself.   I am proud of my I am poem because I worked hard on it and took my time.
Something that challenged me was thinking of what to write in my I am sentence.
Here is my I "am poem".

I am half mermaid.
I wonder how the earth was made
I hear cute little birds singing in the giant Totara trees.
I see trees swaying in the wind and the leaves changing color.
I want to be a singer when I am older.
I am  half mermaid.
I pretend to be a unicorn.
I feel like a mermaid diving in the deep blue sea.
I touch the light peacock blue river.
I worry that we all live one life.
I cry when I am sad.
I am half mermaid.
I understand that we are all different.
I say that I am amazing.
I dream of my dream house.
I try to say stop so nothing bad will happen.
I hope that my little brother does not go  to hospital again.
I am half mermaid.
